A mother’s solution, born from love.
As a mom, I know what it’s like to feel that overwhelming love like you’ve never known the moment your baby is born. The joy and pure connection you share in those first moments are unmatched. But I also understand the worries that come with it—the sleepless nights, the constant desire to make the right choices, and the daily challenges that come with raising a little one. From the first bath to navigating their needs as they grow, every stage brings new emotions and new obstacles. It’s a journey full of love, heartache, and growth—one I’ve been through myself, and one I’m here to walk with you.
As a mom, I know how important it is to keep your baby safe, warm and comforted, especially during those first baths. When bathing my son and daughter, I would only put a small amount of water in the tub to ensure their safety. I quickly saw how their little bare chests and shoulders were exposed to the chilly air. This led to cries that no parent wants to see or hear. I would drape wet washcloths over their little bodies—but this created more laundry, more work, and more worry.
It was then that I knew I needed to create a better solution that would keep them warm and calm during bath time, so baths could be enjoyed and less stressful. The combination of this bath time problem, a frustrated first-time mother, and a designer that loves to create led to the birth of the Bath Luvē.
The Comeback
My journey through success, heartbreak and a heartfelt rebirth for babies everywhere!
Knowing how this innovative design saved my children from the tears and stress, I wanted to share this with the world so all babies and parents could benefit. With the encouragement from family and friends, I filed the provisional patent and pitched it to a major retailer.
The excitement grew when a purchase order was granted and Bath Luvē hit the store shelves in 2006. Bath Luvē has been in Kohl’s, Target, buybuyBABY, Amazon and other specialty stores. National magazines, such as Parents and Working Mother, and mommy bloggers loved sharing their experiences, and it quickly became a trusted choice for parents across the nation. Seeing something you created out of love from your own children and seeing other people loving it too was a true milestone in my journey as both a mother and an entrepreneur.
Despite my success, my journey wasn’t without challenges. I experienced the heartbreak of having my initial patent pending creation and the brand Bath Luvē harmed by a former business partner, who was my exclusive manufacturer. It was a difficult time and having to step away from the market for a while was painful. In a way, Bath Luvē was like another child to me - one born out of love to nurture my own babies.
This redirection allowed me to have a transformative pause. Through that pause, my children witnessed the lesson of perseverance I had always taught them. Now, as adults, they inspire me in return, reminding me to never give up on what I love and keep going. Similar to the feeling of wanting only the best for them, my heart for Bath Luvē means never giving up on something that I love so much.

My purpose has never changed, which is to bring warmth and love to every baby's bath and partner with parents to help create comforting moments during a time that can be challenging. I am committed to making a positive impact on families and the environment.
